The 2013 Lucille Lortel Awards Nominations have been announced!

Aasif Mandvi (DISGRACED) was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor. He will also be co-hosting the awards with Maura Tierney.

Eisa Davis and Amanda Quaid (LUCK OF THE IRISH) were nominated for Outstanding Featured Actress.

Leah Gelpe (SLOWGIRL) was nominated for Outstanding Sound Design.

LCT3 presents a workshop production of MR. JOY, a 90-minute one-man show written and performed by Daniel Beaty and directed by Sheryl Kaller. At the start of the show, something has happened to Mr. Joy, a Chinese-American who has run a shoe-repair shop in Harlem for decades. Through Beaty’s signature style of multi-character storytelling, Mr. Joy’s customers and others discover the nature of the incident, and realize the impact he has had on their lives and their changing community.
